Overview

CadenceAI ("we", "our") helps you find a focus rhythm that fits how you work. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your choices.

Data we collect

• Account data: email address and authentication identifiers when you sign up or sign in (email, Apple, Google, or GitHub).
• Focus data: session duration, method used, distractions, tasks, streaks, and optional session notes you choose to save.
• Preferences: language, theme, timer settings, and sound mixer settings.
• Device data: basic technical data needed to sync your account across devices and deliver notifications.
• Advertising data (free plan only): on the free plan we show ads via Google AdMob, which may access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS / Advertising ID on Android), approximate (non-precise) information, and ad interactions to deliver and measure ads. Cadence Pro removes all ads and this data use.

How we use data

• Provide and sync focus sessions, stats, tasks, and AI Coach insights.
• Authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• Improve app reliability and support.

Third-party services

• Supabase — authentication and cloud storage.
• RevenueCat / App Store / Google Play — subscription management.
• Sign in with Apple / Google / GitHub — optional authentication.
• Google AdMob — advertising on the free plan (not used for Pro users). See Google's privacy & terms.

Advertising

The free plan is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To deliver and measure these ads, Google may process your device's advertising identifier and limited usage and device data. On iOS we ask for your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency before any tracking, and in the EEA/UK we request consent through Google's consent flow; if you decline, you will see non-personalized ads. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings. Upgrading to Cadence Pro removes all ads and the associated data sharing.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You may request deletion by emailing contact@getcadenceai.app; we will delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at contact@getcadenceai.app.

Children

CadenceAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
